Membership is for groups, organisations or individuals that wish to support Sefton CVS in achieving its organisational objects. Membership also presents an opportunity to take part in the organisation’s governance and participate in other activities undertaken by Sefton CVS Purpose of MembershipSefton CVS believes that membership brings real benefits both to our work and to society generally. Limited LiabilityThe liability of members is limited: “Every member of the Council undertakes to contribute to the assets of the Council, in the event of the same being wound up while he/she is a member, or within one year after he/she ceases to be a Member, for payments of the debts and liabilities of the Council contracted before he/she ceases to be a member, and of the costs, charges or expenses of winding up, and for the adjustment of the rights of the contributories among themselves such amount as may be required not exceeding one pound.” Clause 7, Memorandum and Articles of Association, Sefton CVS For more informationTo download a membership application form, click here .
