Wendy Carruthers, the Community Researcher at Sefton CVS, is currently recruiting residents from South and Central Sefton for the Community Research & Consultation training starting in March 2010

You will gain the skills to carry out your own piece of community research, which, when included in funding applications, gives your project or organisation a huge advantage. The course is also accredited at Level 3 (National Open College Network), so you also have an opportunity to gain an accredited certificate and increase your own skills.
The training is run over 4 separate sessions in a 4-week period.
The course is running at the moment and the participants are really enjoying their involvement. You do not need prior experience and Wendy would welcome calls from you if you would like to find out more and to see if you are eligible for a free place.
In addition, Wendy can provide advice and guidance on small-scale community research & consultation. This service is provided to Voluntary, Community, Faith and Neighbourhood groups working within South and Central Sefton.
(Note: Training course is free, but an administration charge of £40.00 will be applicable in the case of non-attendance of registered participants.)
